About the treatment
We want the result of filling the wrinkles above the lip to be as soft as possible. For this reason, we use very small point (bolus) injections. This means the volume added is very small, ensuring the natural look that Dikrama Clinics is known for.

Before the treatment
Not everyone gets bruising after a filler treatment.
The use of Arnica drops has also proven effective against bruising. Start taking these drops five days before the treatment. Arnica is available at the drugstore. -
After the treatment
After a filler treatment for upper lip wrinkles, it is important to stay out of the sun for a full week; avoid tanning beds (and saunas). Schedule your beautician visit two weeks after your filler treatment. Finally, the doctors advise against wearing makeup in the treated area for the first few hours after the treatment.

Recovery time
Unfortunately, the skin above the lip is quite sensitive, and small bruises may develop here after a filler treatment. A few hours after the treatment, you are free to use your makeup bag to camouflage any bruising.

Duration of results
All hyaluronic acid fillers used by Dikrama Clinics provide visible results for approximately 12 months. On average, you can enjoy the results of just one treatment for nearly a year! Everyone is unique, of course, and in some people, the hyaluronic acid is broken down more quickly by their own body.
