For a skinbooster, hyaluronic acid is used, a substance that occurs naturally in the body. With the skinbooster, reserves are replenished and your skin is deeply hydrated. About the treatment
The skinbooster treatment consists of a series of very fine injections into the skin. For the best results, two treatments are required. There are approximately four weeks between treatments. Unlike other anti-wrinkle treatments with fillers, the skinbooster treatment does not add volume, but improves the quality of the skin, making it feel firmer and glow again.

Before the treatment
Start taking Arnica drops five days before the treatment (10 drops 3x a day) to prevent bruising.

After the treatment
The injected area can be cooled after the treatment; cool packs are available at the clinic.
Exercise is not permitted for up to four hours after the treatment.
On the day of the treatment: no makeup on the injected area and do not massage it.
Do not use the sauna for up to three days after the treatment. Avoid the sun and do not use tanning beds for the first week after the treatment. Always use a cream with SPF.
Do not undergo invasive facial treatments, such as laser, peeling, scrubbing, etc., in the first two weeks. -
Recovery time
The injected area may be sensitive and somewhat swollen in the first few days after the treatment. Several small bruises may appear. You can, of course, camouflage these with makeup, but do not do so on the day of the treatment.

Duration of results
The doctors at Dikrama Clinics study your face thoroughly for the most natural result possible. The hyaluronic acid is gradually broken down by the body on average within twelve months after the skinbooster. For the best results, two treatments are required.
Safety
Hyaluronic acid is one of the building blocks of the skin. It ensures better hydration and elasticity of the skin. The body recognizes hyaluronic acid, and therefore the chance of an allergic or foreign body reaction to a hyaluronic acid filler is extremely small. If a small accumulation or asymmetry has developed in the face after the treatment, you don’t need to worry. This can usually be massaged away easily. Furthermore, hyaluronic acid is the only filler that can be actively dissolved. We provide you with a customized treatment and can dissolve any excess filler with Hyason if necessary.
The doctors at Dikrama Clinics are BIG-registered (members of the NVDV, NVCD, and NHG) and only use A-brand Botulinum Toxins and wrinkle fillers.

The skinbooster treatment is suitable for all skin types.
- Fine lines can improve with a skinbooster treatment.
In the hands, however, it can also partially correct volume loss.
However, for filling deeper lines and/or correcting volume loss in the face, the doctors at Dikrama Clinics recommend a filler treatment with a firmer hyaluronic acid.
A single skinbooster treatment already gives the skin a beautiful boost. However, a second treatment provides optimal results.
A skinbooster treatment costs €375 for 1 ml and €600 for 2 ml. A second session after 4 to 6 weeks costs €350 (1 ml) or €550 (2 ml).
