The Botox treatment process

Before the treatment
Before the doctor starts the Botox treatment of the calves, the area to be treated is first thoroughly disinfected. The injection points are then marked.

After the treatment
Exercise is not permitted for up to four hours after the treatment. We do advise you to start moving your calves regularly immediately after the treatment.

Recovery time
Usually you won't see anything, at most a single bruise after this Botox treatment.

Duration of results
The calf relaxes within two days to two weeks, causing the size to decrease. In the following weeks, the calf muscle will shrink further. The result of a Botox treatment for large calves initially remains visible for three to four months. If you visit more often, you may be able to enjoy the results for longer. This varies per person.
Safety
Botulinum Toxin or Botox is an extremely safe medicine. Botulinum Toxin falls under the Medicines Act; before the product was admitted to the market, years of research were conducted into its effectiveness, side effects, and complications.
